A 27-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly struck one other man within the head with a pipe close to the Halifax Widespread on Tuesday.
Halifax Regional Police say they have been known as to the 2000 block of North Park Avenue at round 7 p.m. to a report of an assault.
Police say a person had been struck by the suspect within the head with a pipe and had suffered critical non-life-threatening facial accidents.
The sufferer was despatched to hospital for therapy.
Police say the suspect was restrained by bystanders and was subsequently arrested by police. The 2 males are recognized to one another.
Site visitors was briefly disrupted on North Park Avenue because the scene was processed, however has since reopened.
The suspect stays in police custody and is scheduled to look in courtroom at a later date.
