Distressed swimmer dies after being pulled from Crowe River: Peterborough County OPP – Peterborough

A swimmer died following an incident in Crowe River in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township on Saturday morning.

In accordance with Peterborough County OPP, round 11:45 a.m. emergency crews have been known as to help after a male swimmer did not floor within the Crowe River.

The sufferer was within the river with a pal when he went into misery and slipped below the water, OPP mentioned.

The sufferer was positioned by bystanders and CPR was initiated, police mentioned.

He was transported to hospital the place he was pronounced deceased, OPP mentioned Saturday afternoon.

OPP say the reason for the incident stays below investigation. The identification of the sufferer is not going to be launched till the subsequent of kin are notified, police mentioned.
