Pilot unhurt after emergency airplane touchdown in Middlesex County – London

Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police and Stratford Police responded to a report of a downed airplane within the space of Wellburn Highway and Elginfield Highway in Thames Centre at 6:56 p.m. Friday night

The explanations behind a pilot of small Cessna having to make an emergency touchdown stay unknown.

Police say they obtained info from BAC Canada that the Cessna airplane was experiencing mechanical points within the London space.

The pilot and lone occupant was compelled to make an emergency touchdown in a area off Wellburn Highway simply south of Elginfield Highway police say.

There have been no reported accidents to the occupants or harm to the airplane.

Police say an investigation to determine what occurred remains to be ongoing.
